Romark Industries, Inc. ("Romark," "we," "us") operates romarkindustries.com and sells Fortelene™ tool, belt, and bucket hooks for the electric-utility and power-line industry, as well as HookBoss™ concrete float hooks. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Checkout is handled by our third-party payment processor, which is PCI-compliant. Your card details are submitted directly to the processor and are not stored on our systems. We receive confirmation of the transaction and limited details such as the last four digits of the card, the card brand, and the billing name and address. The processor's handling of your information is governed by its own privacy policy.
Like most websites, we and our service providers automatically collect technical information when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and the dates and times of your visits. This comes from server logs, cookies, and similar technologies.
Our website and online store run on a third-party website and e-commerce platform that uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working (for example, to remember the contents of your cart, keep you signed in, and complete checkout), to protect the site and our forms from spam and abuse, and to understand how the site is used. Some site content, such as fonts and images, is delivered by third-party content delivery services, which receive your IP address when your browser loads that content.
We may use analytics or advertising tools to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our marketing. If we use third-party advertising technologies that track you across other sites, we will describe them in this policy.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works, including the cart and checkout. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by law.
We share personal information only as needed to run our business, with:
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If you opt in to marketing emails, you can unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of any message. If you opt in to text messages, reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help; message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Consent to marketing messages is never a condition of purchase. We will still send you transactional messages about orders you place and inquiries you submit. We do not share mobile numbers or text-messaging opt-in consent with third parties for their own marketing.
Wherever you live, you may contact us to request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We'll respond as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.
California residents. Under the CCPA/CPRA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and (if applicable) sell or share; the right to request deletion or correction; the right to opt out of sale or sharing (we do not sell or share as those terms are defined); and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. You may use an authorized agent.
How to submit a request. Email [email protected] with "Privacy Request" in the subject line, or call (440) 333-5480. Tell us what you're asking for (access, correction, deletion, or opt-out) and how to reach you. We may ask for information to verify your identity before acting on the request.
We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described here and to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, typically several years for transaction records. Inquiry and marketing contacts are kept until you opt out or ask us to delete them, or until they are no longer needed.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted connections on our website and a PCI-compliant payment processor. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Romark products are sold to utility, trade, and industrial professionals, businesses, and other adults. Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Our site links to third-party websites and services, including our HookBoss™ website (hookboss.net), which has its own policies. Third-party services have their own privacy policies, and we're not responsible for their practices.
We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and the current version is always available at romarkindustries.com/privacy-policy.
